The Weisshorn is an acoustic steel string slide guitar.

Also called Hawaiian guitar or Weissenborn.

Traditionally designed by luthier Chris J. Knutsen and made popular by luthier Hermann Weissenborn.

The special feature of this model once again is its remote sound hole, providing a larger vibration surface for the soundboard.

Compared to traditional Weissenborn I was looking for a sound more round and balanced.

 

Composed of a double X-shaped dam.
